Actor Sheejan Khan, famous for the famous Indian telefilm ‘Kasauti Zindagi Ki’, has been accused of domestic violence. A woman named Ayesha Pirani living in America has accused him of domestic violence and extortion.
The woman has lodged an FIR against the actor saying that she is Sheejan’s wife. Ayesha has also claimed that Sheejan molested her.
He used to lock me in the room and flirt with other girls on Skype. He used to tell me that I married you, I couldn’t give you my life. This was his rule dialogue. ‘When I forgot to bring fruits, he used to use such words to me that now I can’t say that’, she said.
According to Ayesha’s claim, Sheejan married her in 2015. But the actor asked her to keep the marriage a secret. After some time, Sheejan made him sign the divorce papers. “I am a Muslim woman and according to Muslim law I am still married. I want to recover the money I spent on him.”
I need compensation for what I am going through mentally because of him. “I want to get married and I want to be legally ‘Khulanama’ according to Muslim law,” said Ayesha.
Ayesha registered an FIR against the actor on June 7. She accused Sheejan of using her to get a green card. She has demanded Rs 8 lakh compensation from Khan.
